How do I add a page to monitor?
Click the DiffSpot icon in your toolbar, then click "Add Job". Enter the URL and optionally use the visual picker to select a specific element on the page.
Why isn't my page being checked?
Make sure the job is enabled (toggle is on). The free plan checks pages every 12 hours. Also check that the URL is accessible and the CSS selector (if used) matches an element on the page.
Can I monitor pages that require login?
Currently, DiffSpot fetches pages without your browser cookies, so login-protected pages are not supported. This feature is planned for a future update.
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. Nothing is sent to external servers.
How do I export/import my monitoring jobs?
Go to Settings in the DiffSpot popup, then use the Export or Import buttons to back up or restore your data as JSON.
